Don't care about ref's being on the field

Jul-25-2022 PST Category: Madden 23

I'm pretty sure the majority of Madden fans don't really care about refs in the field, just as they don't mind missing Extra Points or poor snaps on offense, or special teams being not a aspect in the sport.

In the real world, everything described are aspect of the game that is the sport itself.

NFL, CFL, USFL and College Football that is what we can watch on a Saturday and Sundays in the stadium.

No matter if Madden is an actual sport or not we all can agree that Football is a sport , and everything can be observed when watching or playing.

It shouldn't matter which community of fans is interested in these things or not.

It's about EA taking care of the history of this game as well as the elements that have always been a part of this game through its long history.

The method EA has arranged things in their game to please gamers who are competitive is quite mind-blowing to me sometimes.

We don't get to see wildly inaccurate throws, wide open passes, misplaced snaps, defensive holding and so on because EA does not want to disturb players who compete.

For me, it is similar to MLB The Show removing errors from the game since the crowd that was cheering for them cried over the errors.

I'm sure that athletes who are competitive will be crying. It's inevitable that they'll have things to grieve about. I'm not sure the reason EA has taken as long to listen to them than they've.

Perhaps I'm just naive, however If we experienced bad snap, a dropped pass or defensive holding. The crowd would adapt and, If the ratings performed as they should then they'd be able to get over the issue knowing that they could make their teams better.

Does EA believe that they'll lose a substantial portion of MUT's engagement if a shoddy long snapper throws it in the direction of punter QBs with low-level ability doesn't hit everyone in stride or if defensive holding was in play when players pressed with a ridiculous amount of force?

It's the same to me from someone who is angry for the fact that they placed Nick Castellanos in the field and he was unable to perform in the field. SDS simply decides to have every fielder catch whatever they could reach.

The things EA removes only decrease how strategic the gameplay is. This isn't what you would want from an extremely competitive game such as this. If there was a real emphasis on long snappers and players were required to concentrate on improving their positions this is only another layer of depth in the game mode. If DBs were penalized for holding or WRs weren't catching everything even though they caught 60 times or QBs weren't precise, then players will have to test how their team's strengths could be utilized more which could result in an even more lively game and more depth that would be more beneficial to play a competitive game.
